The Bike Booth
The Bike Booth is an innovative new concept dreamt up by us after spending lots of time with other biker friends, and visiting many bike shows. The concept is simple: professional studio photographs of your pride and joy, printed while you wait, whilst you are indulging in your biker/scooter weekend. We have never seen anything like this before.
Stewart is a professional photographer with many years’ experience. When he was made redundant last year, we took the opportunity to combine our passion for biking with Stewart’s photographic skills and Fliss’s experience in marquee hire.
We used our bikes as the guinea pigs – Stewart’s Triumph Sprint ST and Fliss’s Honda CB 125 and a Kawasaki 750 generously loaned to us by JB Bikes of Wisbech, and the customised Vespa belonging to Dean Robinson, organiser of the Skegness Scooter Rally . As you can see from the attached images, the results were great and we think will appeal to fellow 2 wheel enthusiasts.
The plan is to take it to as many shows as possible this season and already we have had a lot of interest. It is certainly an attraction with a novelty value, and we think people will enjoy watching the goings on and the bike “models”, and be amazed at what quality we can produce. They will be able to buy prints, personalised key rings, and other products, all of which we can produce on site on the day, or post out to them if they can’t squeeze another thing into their luggage.
We also think individual clubs would be interested and we would be happy to bring the Bike Booth along to a special club night, at no charge to the club, provided they had a few members who had expressed an interest. Likewise, we think it might appeal to dealerships organising a special promotional day.
